Recently, Australia has lifted travel restrictions for fully vaccinated international students and Temporary Graduate visa holders. This means that new and returning international students can travel to Australia, without the need to apply for a travel exemption, and get settled in ahead of their return to on-campus learning in 2022.
With the change in national travel restrictions, international students are being reminded to still check the requirements of each of Australia’s states and territories, before they book their flights. This means they should check both: Australian Government arrival requirements via https://www.studyaustralia.gov.au/english/latest-travel-and-visa-advice and any additional requirements for entry into individual states and territories.
Students should continue to check the travel and pre-departure requirements up until the date of their flight. Students can access a detailed checklist at: https://www.studyaustralia.gov.au/english/latest-travel-and-visa-advice/updates/travel-and-pre-departure-checklist
